Cancer Revolution

I am passionate about helping cancer survivors and care givers step from cancer survivor to cancer thriver.  My desire to help you runs deeps because I have been where you are right now.  In July 2009, my husband (Paul) was diagnosed with Stage II colon cancer.  He was young (38), healthy, and incredibly fit.  Cancer was the last thing we expected in our otherwise charmed life and it rocked our world.

Paul doing what he loves

We hit cancer with everything that western medicine could offer but as the person standing helplessly on the sidelines, I wanted more.  I wanted to know that we were doing everything possible to beat the cancer and keep it away forever.

I dove deep into nutrition, stress reduction, and alternative treatments. I learned that what we put in our body at every meal, what we think in our brain, and how we carry stress plays a huge role in cancer and nearly every other disease.

I also learned that cancer can be the best teacher.  Cancer clarifies everything.  The to-do list, the multi-tasking, the mindless TV— that all disappears the instant you hear the words, “You have cancer”.  Both my husband and I stepped into magical transformations in our relationship with each other, our careers, and our daily living because of cancer.

If you are ready to take control of your health and know that you are doing everything you can to stay cancer free I would love to support you on your journey.

It’s time to step into your transformation and start thriving…

This was 6 months after Paul finished radiation.  We let cancer know that it couldn’t slow us down. We rode a 24-hour mountain bike race together and got 2nd place (we’re on the left!)
